The Baltimore Hip Hop Historical Project

The Baltimore Hip Hop Historical Project can be described as an initiative that uses public exhibitions, artistic display and cultural presentations as a method of increasing awareness of the impact of local hip hop and social justice in Baltimore City.

The problem to be addressed by this request is the lack of public exhibition concerning the impact of hip hop history on social justice in Baltimore City.

The Baltimore Hip Hop Historical Project will utilize a ceremonial street naming-community focused event, coordinate efforts in support of the creation of a public mural and the construction of a museum-style display/exhibit as the strategic approach to increase awareness of the role of Baltimore’s hip hop and social justice.
